The editorial of Figaroby Gaëtan de Capèle.
No laughing: it is not a “blocking” of the country that the unions are calling for to oppose pension reform, but its “shutdown”. Closed schools, non-existent public transport, paralyzed refineries… Everyone will be able to fully appreciate this semantic subtlety today in front of the closed doors of most public services. The turkeys in the stuffing are always the same. It is about these millions of French people, certainly not very enthusiastic about the idea of retiring two years later, but for whom going to work is not an option. These private employees, these craftsmen, these traders, these entrepreneurs who, far from claiming a right to laziness, simply demand that they be allowed to earn their living. Once again, they will have to use all the resources of the D system to achieve this.
Those who promise to make life impossible for them by pretending to work for their good are also always the same. Public transport workers, electricians, etc.
