Recently, much criticism has been leveled at Paris Saint-Germain and Leo Messi when it comes to the use of airplanes. The team was attacked for not using trains for the away games and the case of the flea was investigated in depth in the French Lakip and a fair amount of criticism was leveled at him as well.

In June, July and August, Messi’s private plane flew 52 times for 368 hours, on the way emitting 1,502 tons of carbon dioxide in those three months, as much as the average French person flies and pollutes in 150 years (!). The Argentine himself was not in all cases on the plane, while sometimes his family and friends were allowed to use it.

In France they revealed that 30 of the flights were within the continent and another 14 were transatlantic. The star himself returned to training at Paris Saint-Germain after recording two successful games in the international break, in which he scored a pair against Honduras and Jamaica. The 35-year-old Messi has scored 90 goals in 164 appearances for the national team.

Messi’s private plane was made by a company in Argentina and was specially designed for him. His value is estimated at 12 million pounds. The flea is expected to be included in Christophe Galtier’s squad for the French champion’s game tomorrow at 10:00 PM in the Parc de France against Nice, which has collected only eight points from the start of the season.
