The deadline for submitting documents under the Main phase of the integrated project “Bulgarian municipalities work together to improve the quality of atmospheric air” – LIFE-IP CLEAN AIR under the “LIFE” Program of the European Union for the transition to alternative forms of heating has been extended until exhaustion of the financial resource under the project, but no later than January 31, 2025. This was reported by the press center of the Municipality of Ruse.
The scheme will finance free of charge:
the permissible heating equipment;
the installation of new heating equipment in households’ homes;
training households on the operation of the installed new heating equipment;
prevention of delivered and installed heating devices under the Scheme – only once for the first year after the delivery and installation of the heating device/s;
the warranty service for a five-year period of the heating appliances delivered to the household.
The criteria for applying for the project require the applicant to be the owner/co-owner of a home that is heated by wood and/or coal heating device(s). The apartment should be located at an address falling within the territorial scope of the city of Ruse, the town of Marten, the neighborhoods “Sredna Kula”, “Dolapite”, “DZS” and “Obratzov chiflik”, the village of Nikolovo and the village of Basarbovo.
