A man died after a beating in Razgrad. A 24-year-old man from Isperih was detained as an accomplice to the committed act, announced the spokesperson of the Regional Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Razgrad, Iliyana Georgieva.
On August 26, the Multispecialty Hospital for Active Treatment in Razgrad received a report of a person who died in the Cardiology Department. At the request of the relatives, the next day the body of the 49-year-old man was examined by a pathologist from Burgas, who found blood in the abdominal cavity. An autopsy was performed yesterday by the medical examiner of the Razgrad hospital. His conclusions were that intracostal arch hemorrhages were causally related to death. In the course of the operational-search actions undertaken, the perpetrator of the act was identified and detained, Iliyana Georgieva pointed out. For BTA, the spokesperson of the Regional Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Razgrad said that the reason for the beating was unsettled financial relations.
The case was reported to the district attorney. An investigation is underway.
