The 2023 Heat Awards have revealed their nominees. Servando and Florentino, Danny Ocean and Lasso are some of the Venezuelans on the list for the eighth edition of the award, which will have its gala on June 8 in the Dominican Republic.
“It makes us very happy (sic) to announce that we are nominated in the 8th edition of HTV HEAT Awards in the Best Group or Band category. Thank you to everyone who has written to us and has been voting for us. Your affection and love will always be our most special award,” the Primera brothers expressed in a post on their Instagram account.
“And if you have not yet voted, you can join us through the APP LosHeat.TV @lospremiosheat @losheat.tv”, they added.
Lasso, for his part, is on the list for Best Pop Artist where he will compete with Danny Ocean, Sebastian Yatra, Camilo, Kany García, Axel, Carlos Rivera, Andrés Cepeda and Lali.
Yatra and Lasso also stand out in the Best Collaboration category for the song “Ojos marrones”.
Other Venezuelans who received mentions on the list are Lele Pons and Marko, both in the Influencer of the Year category.
The Venezuelan-American Elena Rose, likewise, is on the list for the Musical Promise category of the Heat Latin Music Awards.
Best Pop Artist and Best Andean Region Artist

The Venezuelan singer and producer appears every year in the dominations. In 2021, he celebrated his nomination for Best Andean Region Artist and Best Collaboration with the single “Miedito o Qué”, a song that premiered in 2020 and that he performed together with Ovy on The Drums and Karol G.
In 2022, Danny is back in the Best Andean Region Artist category thanks to his hit single “Fuera del Mercado”.

According to information from the Heat Awards, known as the Latin music festival, this year the organization included three new categories: DJ of the Year, Song of the Year, and Best Music Platform Content.
The new categories join the already well-known 17 categories, which will choose their winners through popular voting on the streaming platform (App and web), LosHeat.Tv.
For the second year in a row, the 8th Edition Heat Latin Music Awards will award the “Trend Artist of LosHeat.Tv” recognition to the talent with the greatest interaction on the Heat Awards platform.
In this edition, the Colombians Karol G, Feid and the Puerto Rican Bad Bunny lead the nominations with 6 each, followed by El Alfa with 5, Romeo Santos and Bizarrap with 4.
Shakira, Maluma, Manuel Turizo, Christian Nodal and Chris Lebroncon received 3 mentions each, while Arcangel, Marc Anthony, Carlos Vives, Alejandro Fernández, Danny Ocean, Grupo Firme, Justin Quiles, Piso 21, Quevedo, Kany García, Morat, Lasso , Sebastian Yatra and Rosalía have two categories.
