Madrid’s victory yesterday over Girona generated a lot of joy among its fans, so much so that some even ‘lost their minds’ when it came to choosing how to celebrate it.
For example, there is the Salvadoran Santos Alfredo Durán Montano, who in his joy at the victory of the Spanish club fired several shots into the air.
“Montano fired his firearm several times to ‘celebrate’ Real Madrid’s victory. Immediately, he was captured for putting the lives of the people around him at risk,” detailed the National Civil Police (PNC).
The PNC detailed that the incident took place in the Santa Cecilia neighborhood, in the municipality of Tecoluca, in the department of San Vicente.
Authorities added that “any type of actions like these will not be tolerated,” as it puts the lives of others at risk.
“We ask the population to enjoy football in a healthy way and without putting the integrity of others at risk,” the Police concluded.
