The National Civil Police reported that they arrested José Antonio Medina⁢ Hernández in La Unión, who allegedly lured someone who promised to process an American visa for him in‍ exchange for $7,400 dollars.

“This scammer is José Antonio Medina Hernández, who promised to process an American visa for someone in ⁣exchange for $7,400,” the PNC said.

According to the PNC, the victim, who lives in Chalatenango, made 2 deposits in different ⁣bank⁢ accounts, but after that Medina ‌Hernández lost contact with the person, who was left without the procedure and the money.

“Thanks to the investigations, we found his place in the neighborhood of La Esperanza, in Santa ‍Rosa de Lima, La Unión, arrested⁢ through ⁣a tax order,” the National Civil Police stated ⁣on ⁤social networks.

“This man offered his immigration advisory services on social networks, but the arrest ended his way to commit crimes,” the PNC said.⁤
