The Cuban Osmeidis Peña Coba, who is admitted to the provincial hospital of Camagüey, requires O- blood donors.
The request for help for this Antillean is being spread on the social network Facebook, where his relatives assure that this blood group is not available in the blood bank, so people who can donate are needed to save the man’s life.
“Please, we need “O-” to everyone who can help us. This great person suffered a terrible accident, it was serious. Right now he is fighting as he has always done, but this time for his life,” says the message about the Cuban’s death.
In a message, Edisner Peña Hinojosa specified that the person who is willing to make a donation must go to the blood bank because the hospital does not have the conditions for collection, and at that place inform them that the blood is for the patient Osmeidis Peña Coba who is located in intensive care bed 4 of the provincial Hospital.
The Cuban urgently needs to donate type O- blood because he must undergo several operations.
“He has to undergo several operations but his blood group is not “O-” if you can help, we will appreciate it. We have several donors but they are another blood group, in case they need it for a family member. Thank you,” Edisner Peña Hinojosa wrote on Facebook.
Cubans look for support in their own friends and acquaintances, in situations like these, because the (im)medical power of the island is not prepared to help the sick, or in this case, this man who suffered an accident and is in a delicate state of health.
