Residents of Placida (Florida, USA) recorded a crocodile through a metal fence. “Only in Florida!” commented Matt Devitt, WINK News chief meteorologist, who posted video of the event on Twitter last Thursday.
Devitt commented on the incident, stating that the animal he had managed to bend the bars of the fence because they were aluminum “it is considered a light metal”. In the video you can see how the crocodile approaches the fence, puts its head between the bars, separates them, jumps and moving its legs gradually passes the rest of its body.
The video was already viewed more than 2 million times, and users were left scared and impressed by the images. Several people were convinced that the animal had already done it before.
This happened where I work, my coworker made the video. Unfortunately, it was a new fence that we had just put up. We were trying to dig holes for him to get under before he decided to go through the fence. He got stuck but luckily we were able to guide him«, wrote one of the users in the comments.
In Florida, about 1.3 million crocodiles residewhich inhabit all 67 counties of the state, according to the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission.
