A partial state of emergency has been declared in Stara Zagora municipality in connection with the fire that broke out this afternoon between the villages of Dalboki and Oryahovitsa. This was reported to BTA by the mayor of Stara Zagora Municipality, Zhivko Todorov.

He pointed out that at the moment the situation is under control, but there are outbreaks that are smoldering. There is no danger to the population or buildings thanks to the efforts of the fire department, police, forest officials, employees of the Stara Zagora municipality, volunteers and residents of the village. There will be people on duty all night, because due to the strong wind, it is possible that some fire could ignite again, explained Todorov.

At the moment there is information about three damaged buildings in the village of Dalboki as a result of the fire, an inspection will be carried out and the victims will be compensated.

The municipality of Stara Zagora added that coniferous and deciduous trees, bushes and agricultural land were destroyed.

We remind you that the fire broke out today at 2:13 p.m. between the two Stara Zagorje villages. The Ministry of Defense announced that a Cougar helicopter assisted in extinguishing the flames this afternoon in the area of ​​the village of Dalboki, Stara Zagora region.
