Roberto Quijano Sosa, president of the Baja California Citizen Security Council (CCSEBC), highlighted the significant presence of civil society and the business sector during the Vigil for Security held in response to the increase in crime rates in BC.

“As citizens and as an organized civil society, it is our responsibility to get involved, demand and speak out in terms of security, but it is also necessary to propose and participate, especially in the implementation of preventive programs and to be part of them, as requested by many neighborhoods in Tijuana,” he said.
