After the controversies registered in Buenos Aires, Entre Ríos and Neuquén, Javier Miley added a new turbulence. This time, in Catamarca, where one of the libertarian referents accused the main political operator of the presidential candidate of demanding a “bribe” of US$ 100,000 as an unavoidable condition to position him in the province and lower the list of his internal rival in that district.

The accusation was launched by the political leader Jose “Chichí” Jalilone of the most visible faces of the libertarian space in Catamarca for a year, who stated that Carlos Kikuchi He demanded that sum of money to deactivate the list of La Libertad Avanza that had been made official in the province and that will be attached to the presidential ballot.

“Chichí” Jalil affirmed that Kicuchi demanded that amount from him in two tranches. The first, for U$S 50,000, to guarantee him that he would go down on the list that leads as a candidate for governor to José Jalil Colomé. And the second tranche, also for US$ 50,000, at the time of presenting the ticket models, according to the local media “El Ancasti” and “El Diario de Catamarca”.

The accusation of Jalil, who in April had presented himself as a “proxy” of La Libertad Avanza in Catamarca, thus joins other public complaints in different parts of the country about a collection system, the purchase of candidacies in dollars and demands to deliver positions in the State that accumulates the intimate environment of Milei.

Jalil affirmed that he did not agree to Kikuchi’s demand, which is why the national party leadership presented an addendum to the articles of incorporation that allowed the Unite and Integration and Development Movement parties to be incorporated into the libertarian space in Catamarca, which ended up benefiting the other internal line.

consulted by THE NATION, spokesmen for Milei maintained the same official position in recent weeks. They indicated that the criticisms and claims that come to light are a logical consequence of the closure of lists in each district. “Those who are left out feel hurt and complain; It’s normal,” they said.

In this sense, from the libertarian armed forces that prevailed in Catamarca and that promotes the candidacy of José Jalil Colomé for governor, they indicated that José “Chichi” Jalil and Javier Galán “did not accept the spaces that were proposed to them.”

The accusation of “Chichí” Jalil is added to the audios that came to light in Entre Ríos in which it is made explicit that candidates for elective office had to contribute dollars, with the option of paying in installments. “There is an amount, there is a monthly amount that each candidate must begin to meet as soon as he is a candidate, so we are already working on it in record time,” he said. Liliana Salinas, provincial referent of space, in one of those audios.

Salinas involved Milei, Kikuchi and another operator in the money demands. “They have to first finance this. Let’s say, it is so. Nobody is going to be surprised. Neither Kikuchi is going to be surprised, nor Julio Serna He is not going to be surprised, not even Javier Milei himself is going to be surprised because Javier Milei is precisely the one who is doing the same to future candidates. They have to finance the campaign. It is so, ”he maintained.

The audios came to light after Juan Carlos Blumberg to walk away from space after accusing Milei, her sister KarinaKikuchi and the owner in Buenos Aires territory, Sebastian Couple, to make “business” out of politics. He accused them of asking for up to “50,000 dollars” for a candidacy for councilor in Tigre’s party.

Hours later, Milei took to social media to deny Blumberg’s accusations. “Let’s see if she understands herself once and for all. The one who comes to put stays in this space (here each one benches with their own) ”, she wrote on Twitter. “Anyone who wants to come here to see if he steals a little charge gets ejected. Report all you want, ”she challenged.

The one who came out to cross it was his former ally and today a staunch critic, Carlos Maslatón. He accused him of “auctioning” candidacies and setting up a “political franchisee regime”, which he reaffirmed when appearing to testify as a witness in the federal courts of Comodoro Py, in the investigation that the electoral Justice initiated.

Blumberg and Maslatón were not the only ones to denounce alleged irregularities. Silvina Soria, one of the libertarian faces in Avellaneda, also denounced that they demanded US$ 60.00 for the candidacy for mayor, although he maintained that the demands also applied to applications for councilors and even school counselors. “Everything here is for money,” she said, pointing to the “Fundación Deportes Electrónicos” as a supposed channel for payments.

Meanwhile, in Neuquén, the former candidate for space governor, Carlos Eguiadenounced a “mode of operation” that would include the delivery of positions in the State, the sale of electoral “franchises” and the payment of “cachets” for trips, among other practices.

Before, the vice president of the youth group La Generación Libertaria, Agustin Perez Arevalo, had stated that the dynamic was recurring: “If you want to occupy an important position in the party, they ask you for money. If you want to take a picture with Milei they ask you for money, if you want me to do a talk, there is only one request: ‘put money’”.

For her part, the Buenos Aires legislator Rebecca Fleitaswho took office in 2021 from the La Libertad Avanza list, had accused another close associate of Milei, Nicholas Emma. “They asked me for all the contracts, they had appointed all the office staff, I could not choose either the parliamentarian or the administrative secretary,” he explained. And he revealed that they wanted to make him sign “a letter of resignation in advance and then they wrote a document in which the people that I supposedly designated in the position wrote on my behalf.” When appearing in the courts of Comodoro Py, he also ratified his statements.
