The uniforms pulled out a taser, he yelled that he was going to take it and shoot them in the back
A Plovdiv resident, who had a neat party with loud music in the middle of the night, spent 2 days in a branch of the Ministry of Internal Affairs because of threats to the policemen sent to his address. Uniformed officers responded to his home in the city center following a report of a nighttime disturbance at 4am on April 10 this year. The man, who works as a driver overseas, was heavily intoxicated and refused to comply with their order to turn down the music. He yelled and started insulting the law enforcement officers, then threatened them that he would beat them up and kick them down the stairs, followed by requests for sexual assaults, and when they warned him that they would use a taser against him, he stated that he’ll take it and shove it behind them. He fiercely resisted arrest and another team of police had to be called.
After that, an act was drawn up against him under the Decree for Combating Petty Hooliganism and the decision of the District Court in Plovdiv was to impose on him the more severe punishment than that provided for by this normative act – detention in a structural unit of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. The other is a fine.
