During the afternoon of this Tuesday, October 1, the State Attorney General’s Office (FGE) of Veracruz reported that the six Colombian women that were found deprived of their freedom.
The FGE of Veracruz reported that, as a result of investigative acts, a police operation was carried out in the Las Vegas neighborhood, in the municipality of Boca del Río.

During the operation in the area, the victims of Colombian nationality were found and released.
The Veracruz Prosecutor’s Office will continue with the necessary procedures to clarify the facts and assured that there will be no impunity in the case.
The release of the young Colombian women was also confirmed by the president of Colombia, Gustavo Petro.
“The six young women from Medellín, who had disappeared in the port of Veracruz, Mexico, have been rescued in an operation by specialized teams,” he said through his X social network.
