They flee with PlayStation and two stolen bikes: reported for receiving stolen goods in Bolzano – Bolzano

by times news cr

BOLZANO. Last night, while driving along Viale Duca d’Aosta, a patrol car crew noticed two suspicious people – later identified as a 35-year-old Palestinian and a 29-year-old Syrian, both with numerous criminal records – who, at the sight of the officers, immediately fled, quickly moving away on two bicycles, one of them with a very large backpack on his shoulders.

The two men, who had already been subjected to a previous police check a few hours earlier where they were found to be without their bicycles and backpacks, were stopped again by the police and subjected to a search: at the end of the Judicial Police activities, the bicycles, a “Playstation 5” console with 2 joysticks, the power cable and a CD containing a video game were seized as they were considered illegally stolen goods.

Taken to the police station, the two were unable to provide any plausible explanation as to the origin of the goods, most likely from a theft committed shortly before. For this reason, they were reported for receiving stolen goods.

In light of what happened, their criminal record and their irregular status in Italy, in parallel with the judicial process, the Chief of Police of Bolzano Paolo Sartori issued two expulsion orders against them.
