The FESFUT Licensing Committee decided to accept the extension requested by the First Professional Division teams to deliver the financial documents until April 24.
Sources close to FESFUT, this committee notified the first division teams of its decision on Thursday.
On Monday of this week, the Licensing Committee suspended the Provisional Club License to the FAS for not having presented proof of payment to its squad corresponding to March.
The Tigrillo team, however, presented its payment receipts and received the license again on Tuesday. This allowed the associated team to play their match against Platense, corresponding to date 16 of Clausura 2024.
After what happened with the FAS, the FESFUT Licensing Committee initially requested the rest of the First Division teams to submit the payment forms for players and coaching staff no later than Friday, April 12.
According to the Committee, teams that do not present this documentation will have their Provisional Club License suspended.
Without the license, teams cannot schedule their matches corresponding to the Clausura 2024 tournament.
According to the regulations, if a team is not scheduled for two consecutive games or three alternately, it loses its category.
