Marvel and DC in Glen Powell’s cinematic future? The Twisters actor admits he’s a fan, but has no contact with the studios in question.
In recent years the name of Glen Powell gained prominence on the big screen, which is why rumours spread like wildfire that he was in negotiations with the universes of the superheroes most famous to date. Divided between DC e Marvelis the buzz in Hollywood: but could it be true? The actor’s intervention on the issue has certainly helped clarify matters. Despite not having any ongoing negotiations, in fact, Glen Powell has said he is open to the idea of evaluating a possible collaboration in the future.

After Top Gun: MaverickGlen Powell continues to enjoy success on the big screen. After his success with Everyone but youit’s time for Twisters landed in theaters this summer. In addition, on Netflix he is the protagonist of Hit Man and it seems that the actor already has his schedule busy with the production of The Running Man. But what does he think of a hypothetical collaboration with the superhero universe built over the years by DC and Marvel Studios? A persistent rumor claimed that the actor was in talks with one of the two, but apparently this is not the case. Glen Powell himself denied the news. Interviewed during the podcast The Discoursehe specified that he has never come into contact with the studios so far but that he would not mind evaluating the alternative:
You know I’ve never gotten a call from DC or Marvel. But I’m a fan of everything they do. I just saw Deadpool & Wolverine, I had a blast. I think what Shawn Levy and Ryan Reynolds did with that movie is amazing and people had a lot of fun with it. I’m rooting for them and I love what they do. I think James Gunn and Peter Safran and what they’re doing at DC is really, really good for that industry. So I’m rooting for all of them, I’m a huge fan of those movies.
Although we do not have ongoing conversations with the studios of superheroesGlen Powell admitted that he is first and foremost a fan. So if that phone call came, he probably wouldn’t say no.
