The trial against the alleged perpetrator of the kidnapping and murder of Yeniset Rojas Pérez, the young Cuban mother who disappeared for 10 months in Ranchuelo, Villa Clara, has reached its conclusion on Friday, April 26, 2024 in that province.
The court reported that the sentence will presumably be handed down within three weeks.
This case has shocked the Cuban community, which has been pending the search for the young Yeniset since her disappearance in March 2022.
The 33-year-old woman, mother of a girl, was last seen at 11:00 am that day in Ranchuelo, after leaving work heading home.
He lived with his young daughter and her mother, and his sudden disappearance left his family in anguished wait.
After 10 months of tireless searching by her family, Yeniset’s body was found, and the news shocked the entire community.
The Police arrested an individual suspected of being involved in his disappearance on January 19, 2023.
This individual had a history of violence and assaults against women, as confirmed by the Cuban feminist magazine Alas Tensas on Instagram, but despite this, he was free, because the Cuban regime only detains the innocent and sets the guilty free.
Both the victim’s family and friends hope that the maximum sentence will be imposed on the criminal.
The young Cuban remained missing for ten months and although her relatives asked the communist police for help, they managed to obtain precise and timely answers about the appearance of the Antillean woman.
