A Mexican-born US citizen was kidnapped from her home in Colima on February 9, according to an FBI document.
Federal authorities in Los Angeles are offering a $20,000 reward for finding the victim.
This is María del Carmen López, 63, who was taken from her home in Pueblo Nuevo, Colima, Mexico, on February 9, the FBI office in Los Angeles said in a press release issued this Thursday.
Lopez is described as Hispanic, with blonde hair and brown eyes; she is 157 centimeters tall and weighed around 72.5 kilograms when she was last seen. She is also mentioned that she has her eyes permanently made up with tattooed eyeliner.
Sonia López, daughter of the woman, told NBC4 that his mother was traveling between Los Angeles and Mexico. At the time of her alleged kidnapping, her mother was alone on Mexican soil because her husband was visiting a doctor in Los Angeles.
