A young girl filed a complaint after escaping from an apartment in Tours where two 17-year-old boys forced her into prostitution.

On August 12, a 14-year-old girl presented herself to the gendarmes of Tours and told her sordid story. She was held, along with a friend, in a downtown apartment by two 17-year-old boys who had been forcing them into prostitution for about a month, says Le Figaro. She managed to get away with a client at the end of a pass. Immediately, the anti-crime brigade (BAC) and a police rescue team went to the address indicated, where they arrested the two suspects and found the second victim, aged 20.
The 14-year-old girl explained to the police that she had started prostituting herself voluntarily in order to “escape her problems and make easy money”. It was in July that the situation turned bad with the two pimps in question, who forced her to make passes against her will, sometimes without paying her, and by threatening her. She was even forbidden to leave the apartment.
“Aggravated pimping”
The two boys were indicted for “aggravated pimping” and placed in pre-trial detention, said the public prosecutor of Chartres, Frédéric Chevallier. In the apartment, the police found 300 euros in cash, seven apartment keys, used condoms, as well as nitrous oxide cylinders, used to “get high in the evening with the girls”, according to one of the suspects . The 14-year-old girl filed a complaint.
The two suspects were already known to the police, one for carrying a knife, the other for using narcotics. A judicial inquiry was opened on August 14.
