The activist Diasniurka Salcedo, recognized for her courage in confronting the regime, as well as her willingness to help those most in need, has health complications in Mexico and is now the one who needs a helping hand from the community.
It is worth remembering that Salcedo was practically forced to leave the country due to the regime’s persecution against her, a decision she made in order to ensure the well-being of both herself and her family.
Recently, it was learned that while they remain in the Aztec nation, she and her young daughter are in a delicate situation, so a request for help was launched through GoFundMe.
“Our dear friend and sister, Diasniurka Salcedo, is currently in Mexico in a delicate situation, with her husband and two small children (…) Diasniurka and her little girl are in poor health.”
“Although she has never asked for help for herself, because all she has always done has been to help other people, especially mothers and children, right now she needs all the solidarity we can mobilize, and for those her closest friends nearby we have organized this campaign”Lázara Aylin Díaz wrote in the publication.
For many years – and to this day, although she is already outside Cuba – Diasniurka Salcedo has been in charge of helping, time and again, the inhabitants of the island who are immersed in misery, or those sick who need some medicine.

This, unusually, has also been enraging the communist leadership, generating a siege against them.
After having to leave the largest of the Antilles, the activist assured that one day she will return to the country, once it is free.
