Mérida, Yucatán, September 20, 2023.- In order to develop actions that contribute to reinforcing good practices and the sustainable use of natural resources, which comply with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the 2030 Agenda, The Secretariat of Education of the Government of the State of Yucatán (Segey), in coordination with the Secretariats of Sustainable Development (SDS) and Sustainable Fisheries and Aquaculture of Yucatán (Sepasy), opened the call to participate in the Education for Sustainability course.
The course will be taught online from October 5 to November 9, to teaching staff with management, supervision and technical pedagogical advice functions of public preschool, primary and secondary schools, seeking for participants to link the recognized problems for development sustainable to practical solutions, based on the knowledge acquired in the sessions taught online and that impact favorable actions for nature and humans.
The call is addressed to the educational staff of the municipalities of Chicxulub Town, Conkal, Kanasin, Ucu, Uman, Baca, Bokoba, Cansahcab, Dzemul, Dzoncauich, Mococha, Motul, Muxupip, Suma, Tekal de Venegas, Tekantó, Telchac Town, Temax , Tepacan, Teya, Yaxkukul, Buctzotz, Calotmul, Cenotillo, Dzitas, Spita, Panaba, Quintana Roo, Sucila, Temozon, Tizimin, Tuncas, Cantamayec, Chacsinkin, Chankom, Chemax, Chichimila, Chikindzonot, Cuncunul, Kaua, Sotuta, Tahdziu, I live in Tinum, Tixcacalcupul, Uayma, Valladolid and Yaxcaba.

To be entitled to a certificate of accreditation valid before the System Unit for the Career of Teachers (USICAMM), for 40 hours, participants must provide a letter of introduction and reasons, have at least 80% attendance to online classes, respond 100% to teaching evaluations.
