With the aim of making legislative work more efficient and effective, the deputies of the Legislative Assembly with 57 votes in favor approved reforming the internal regulations of the Legislative Body.
Among the reforms are reducing the working commissions of the Legislative Assembly to 8, previously a total of 20 permanent Commissions.
Among the 8 commissions that will be in the current Legislative Assembly are: Commission of Slavadoreños Abroad, Legislation and Government; Technology, Tourism and Investment Commission; National Security and Justice Commission; Health, Agriculture and Environment Commission; Commission for Children and Social Integration; Finance and Special Budget Commission; Infrastructure and Territorial Development Commission and Political Commission.
