The Ministry of the Environment and Natural Resources (MARN), since the first earthquake of magnitude 6.8 that occurred yesterday in Salvadoran territory, has so far registered a total of 104 aftershocks.
“From 6:22 p.m. on July 18 to 6:00 a.m. on this July 19. A total of 104 aftershocks of the 6.8-magnitude earthquake have been registered,” MARN said through its official Twitter account.
In addition to the information provided on the aftershocks, the Environment Ministry stated that of the 104 registered only 28 have been felt, which have had a magnitude between 3.5 and 5.4 on the Richter scale.
