Regional and municipal factions announce the suspension of their pre-election activities, with everyone’s thoughts on the struggling victims of the deadly floods.

The faction “Audience of the Continents” announces the suspension of pre-election events at least until Sunday, while regarding the event planned for Monday, there will be timely information.

Due to the tragic events of the last few days from the devastating floods and with the situation remaining extremely critical in Thessaly, the “Horizons of Epirus” suspend their pre-election activity. More specifically, the tour “With a program for the citizens” in P.E. is suspended. Preveza which was scheduled for Friday afternoon. In addition, Horizons of Epirus suspends the tour that was scheduled for Saturday morning, September 8 in Agia Kyriaki, Parga, Anthousa, Agia, Ammoudia, Loutsa – Vrachos and Lygia. Finally, the speech scheduled for Kanallaki Parga, on Monday, is also postponed.

The regional faction “Epirus Olon – Place to live” decided to suspend her pre-election campaign from today until Sunday, “In these difficult times our thoughts are exclusively for the thousands of our fellow citizens in Thessaly who are affected and are experiencing unprecedented, dramatic situations. All together, we help in any way we can. We appeal to our respective Municipality and offer food and basic necessities to the gathering points with the aim of sending them to Thessaly”, notes the faction.

Also, the lineup “Yannena New Age” in the Municipality of Ioannito expresses its support for the Region of Thessaly and the Municipalities affected by the bad weather and floods and with respect to the dramatic moments experienced by thousands of our fellow citizens, suspends its pre-election activity for the weekend. The faction reminds that the Municipality and OKPAPA are already collecting essential items to be sent to Thessaly. It appeals to all candidates, its members and the residents of the area to contribute to this effort.

Also, all the scheduled events of the two days are postponed by “Independent Municipal Vanguard”expressing her support for the victims and those affected by the latest tragedy.
