The National Action Party thought about Sheyla Palacioswidow of Noé Ramos Ferretiz, to be the substitute candidate for mayor ofand El Mante, Tamaulipas, after the murder of her husband.
During a proselytizing event, the deputy general secretary of the blue and white, Luis Vanoye Carmona, specified that the president of the municipal DIF is not legally prevented from holding this position and has already held public positions.
However, the coordinator of the Fuerza y Corazón por México alliance, Gerardo Peña, assured that it will be in the council meeting that will be held shortly, where Ramos Ferretiz’s replacement will emerge, the local press published.
According to the electoral law of Tamaulipas, the substitution, due to death, of a candidate is valid, but, in this case, the limit is next May 5, since the electoral paperwork is about to be printed.
Sheyla Palacios recently published on her social networks: “little by little you will see me again, I do not deny it, I am very afraid, because it is only me who takes care of my blessings, but it is for him (…) I know that from heaven he will take care of me and He will give strength for whatever comes, because he taught me to #nevergive up and so I will make his words the strength of his entire city and all his people because you must never give up.”
On April 19, Noé Ramos Ferretiz, PAN-PRI candidate for mayor of El Mante, was murdered during proselytizing activities.
Several men attacked him with stabs and, according to witnesses, one of the alleged attackers was a dark-skinned person, who fled after injuring the applicant.
