The singer Dara Ekimova was threatened with murder and insulted through repeated messages. Music producer Sanya Armutlieva warned about this on her Facebook profile.
“We have collected evidence and on Monday we will issue a warning, if necessary there will be a new case and we will not give up until the state takes adequate measures,” Armutlieva also wrote.

A nice, talented and successful girl – Dara Ekimova, has been receiving such messages for months! The ones quoted above, however, are from today!
When I first saw what was happening last year, our lawyers filed a report on her behalf with the GDBOP, the cyber department was activated, they found the identity and address of, notice, a woman from Plovdiv, searched her home, seized her phones and computer , initiated a criminal case. In parallel with it, another case was opened in Haskovo – on the report of another victim. Most recently, it was terminated by a prosecutor’s decree due to the insanity of the person requesting involuntary treatment under the Health Act. As a result of the first case, the woman in question was placed in a specialized institution for 1 month, after which she was released, she came out and today she is active again – writes all day to Dara Ekimova from new profiles, comments under every publication of “Virginia” Records”, regarding the upcoming new album of the singer – last, before we delete, I read that “Dara Ekimova has died”…
I ask: Is it possible that the system in our country cannot do anything significant to protect people who become victims of ugly threats, insults, verbal abuse, cyber harassment by recidivists? If someone is declared insane and therefore not responsible for their actions, is it normal to let them continue to carry out their criminal act? Does one month of forced treatment in a specialized facility equate to nearly two years of almost daily harassment that continues?
