This month, free medical days will be held in three areas of Guatemala City that will offer different services, from vaccinations for adults, medical consultations, dental evaluations and much more.

Free medical days in Guatemala City

Health is an invaluable treasure that deserves to be properly cared for and attended to, which is why the Municipality of Guatemala, through the Directorate of Vulnerabilities and Emergency Management -AVE- will be holding free medical days in zones 1, 5 and 18 of Guatemala City during the month of March.

These will offer different medical services for the whole family and there will also be anti-rabies vaccinations for pets. All services are free, so don’t miss this opportunity to take care of your health.

Dates, hours of operation and place where the medical sessions will be held

All free medical days will be held from March 14 to 16 from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. These are the places where they will be installed:

  • Zone 1: Plaza Barrios
  • Zone 18: Lot 60, block 4, Rosario
  • Zone 5: 44 Avenue, between 19 and 20 street, Eucalipto Garden, La Chacara

Services that will be offered during medical days

  • Medical appointment
  • Medicine delivery
  • Vaccination for adults against: Hepatitis B, Tetanus, Measles and Rubella and Pneumococcus (the latter for those over 60 years of age). If you have a vaccination card, don’t forget to bring them.
  • Supplementation, deworming and vitamins
  • Dental evaluation
  • Vaccination of dogs and cats

Health post in Colonia Quinta Samayoa, zone 7

The Municipality of Guatemala also has a health post in zone 7 of Guatemala City that offers different free medical services to take care of your health and that of your family members.

It is located on 6a. Calle A 12-51, Colonia Quinta Samayoa, zone 7 of Guatemala City, and its opening hours are from 7:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

This is the schedule for each of the services:

  • 7:00 to 13:00 hours
  • 2:00 pm to 2:30 pm

Hypodermia

Typist

  • 7:00 to 12:00 hours
  • 1:00 pm to 2:30 pm

Pharmacy

  • 7:00 to 15:00 hours
  • 2:00 pm to 2:30 pm
