Pastor Claudio Duarte said, during a sermon, that he is preparing for the moment when the Church of Christ in Brazil will be persecuted: “They will close the doors of our churches, they will prevent us from talking about Jesus”.

“I don’t know if you’ve been following the things that are happening, but I confess to you: I’ve never seen, at such a high speed […] Today I had with the Minister of Infrastructure [Márcio França] there in São Paulo, listening to things, seeing… I’ve never seen such a huge acceleration”, he declared.
Duarte understands that the moments that follow will be ones of purification: “The Church is going to experience its best moment in a few days. The Church is going to live an extraordinary moment. Do you know why? Because they will chase her. Because they are going to close the doors of our churches. Because they will prevent us from talking about Jesus. Because there will be no room for a believer mixed with a Christian. The angel comes to remove the tares from among the wheat. There will be no place for half-assed believers. The selection is being established”.
“This is the great truth: we are under siege. Communism arrived in such a way… I already said it here, and today I saw it again. They are calling me – because I have a slightly larger social network – a digital militiaman. Let me tell you something, church: fix it, because the plate will get hot”, he added.

This scenario, in Claudio Duarte’s view, poses a great risk to the churches: “They don’t have cash anymore. It’s all digital. I don’t even know if a single beast is coming, because I see so many beasts that I’m already lost. But it will be ‘cool’ for the Church. I don’t think there will be more people. I confess to you that I have already thought about reducing the size of our church. Will there be so many believers when the griddle heats up?”, he asked.

If you know what this group is preparing… I don’t even like to talk about it because I’ve already seen the Apocalypse… no kidding, no. Probably, in a few days I won’t be able to talk about it anymore”, exhorted Pastor Claudio Duarte.

“It is no longer possible to have a believer crossing the line here and there, living in any way, jumping over walls, swearing, adulterating, not praying. It doesn’t work anymore. This time requires holiness from us. Without sanctification no one will see God. Can’t play. Pray for our Brazil, for our nation. Why? Because we are going to eat from the tree of life. We are with Jesus. But we have to prepare ourselves for what is coming. I respect your opinion, your position, but I think you need to seek a little more information”, insisted the pastor.
Aware of the risks he faces by taking a strong stance against the various left-wing ideologies, the pastor stated that he will not “talk about it anymore” to make an observation of what lies ahead, and added:
“If you are for communism and socialism, tell me frankly, you can raise your hand. We have no problem with that. Would you send your children to the United States or Cuba? Who would send to Cuba, to live in that Cuban ‘paradise’, raise your hand. Would you send your child to Canada or Venezuela? Raise your hand. Would you send your children to England or to one of the countries of Russia’s fragmentation? With all due respect to everyone’s opinion: tell me where socialism/communism works”, he charged.
