Skravena, who plays in the Sofia fourth league, from the village of the same name in the Botevgrad municipality, has withdrawn his appeal against the registration of the president of the BFS, Georgi Ivanov-Gonzo, according to a post on Facebook.

On their page in the social network, Scravena explains that the decision was made during a meeting of the management board.

“After a meeting between the members of the board of directors of FC Scravena regarding the disagreements that arose in the team with the complaint submitted by the president of the club, Mr. Petko Petkov, to challenge the legitimacy of the election of the president of the BFS, it was unanimously decided to withdraw the complaint.
The decision made on 12.04.2024 is already a fact.
FC Scravena wishes success to the newly elected leadership of the BFS!”, the club’s announcement reads.

On April 9, it turned out that the chairman of the club, Petko Petkov, filed a complaint against the results of the Congress for the election of the president of the football union. It turned out that he had seen violations that he did not want to go into detail about but had described in the letter and the new BFS management could not be entered into the commercial register.

However, there is another complaint against the election of Georgi Ivanov, which is also from an amateur club. A few days ago, such a letter was also submitted by “Balkan 1952” (Varvara), which competes in the Pazardzhik regional group. Balkans nominated former goalkeeper Georgi Gradev as a candidate for president, and now they have filed a protest against the results of March 15.
