Monteiro, who competed in Mallorca and Wimbledon on grass, and then moved on to the clay court circuit, starting with the Challenger in Salzburg and then heading to the ATP 250 in Bastad and Umag, highlighted that he is in good physical shape. “It has been four weeks with four completely different conditions and always arriving last minute. Thiago’s next opponent will be the Hungarian Fabian Marozsan, ranked 49th. This will be the first duel between the Brazilian and the Hungarian and takes place this Tuesday (23). “I play tomorrow and it will be another tough match, but I am feeling good. Now it’s time to recover and prepare to have a good second round,” he concluded.
