The Vice Minister of Diaspora and Human Mobility, Cindy Portal, mentioned that next Saturday in Guatemala, the third phase of the driver’s license renewal service for Salvadorans abroad will be launched.
With this new launch, it aims to benefit 65,000 Salvadorans in Central America.
“We will inaugurate the third phase, it will be this coming Saturday at our diplomatic and consular representation in Guatemala, we will be with Vice Minister Nelson Reyes,” said Vice Minister Portal, during the televised interview.
The official mentioned that the first phase was carried out in July, at the request of the community in Spain and Italy. Today, the renewal of licenses is being delivered in eight representations in Europe: Madrid, Barcelona, Seville, Rome, Milan, Stockholm, Paris and Berlin, thanks to an agreement between the Ministry of Public Works and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
