In the multilingual letter that the KURIER has, a reference is made to a refresh calculator on the Internet (to be found here), with which everyone can calculate their appointment.

A tailor-made letter that tells the recipient directly on the basis of the second stitch date when exactly it would need to be refreshed is not possible for data protection reasons, according to the city (the KURIER reported).

Bund will send his letters next week

The Ministry of Health sends out such an individual reminder. This is possible because sovereignty over the vaccination passport data lies with the federal government, explains a spokesman for Vienna’s City Councilor for Health Peter Hacker (SPÖ).

The ministry letters for Johnson & Johnson vaccinated people have already been sent across Austria, those for everyone else will follow next week.

This leads to the curious situation that the Viennese receive reminders from two places. After all, the hacker spokesman assures that the content of the letters has been coordinated with the federal government.

Education in four languages

“THE VACCINATION HELPS AND PROTECTS”, so the answer in bold capital letters. And further: “Of 100,000 fully vaccinated people, only around nine people come to the hospital due to corona. The data shows: 8 out of 10 people in the hospitals are not vaccinated. This value is significantly higher in the intensive care units. The corona vaccination protects that is, of serious illness and of dying from COVID-19. “
