President yves Hulej took center stage, marking a poignant occasion with the farewell of Michel Détail, the club’s dedicated treasurer, who embarked on a well-deserved retirement journey to the picturesque Brittany region. “Michel has served the club faithfully since its inception in May 2011,” Hulej fondly recounted.

The club, known for its active involvement in the billiards community, had participated in five highly competitive interclub challenges. “To foster stronger bonds within our membership, we’ll be hosting special gatherings for players from different practice days. The first rendezvous will take place on Wednesday, January 22nd, coinciding with the festive tradition of “tirer les rois” (Kings’ Day). Additionally, we’ll be organizing a full-year internal championship to keep the competitive spirit alive,” Hulej declared before announcing the appointment of Patrick Le Foll as treasurer and Michel Launay as secretary.
The occasion culminated in a thrilling 24-hour Telethon event,where a non-stop succession of billiards matches entertained both participants and spectators. Their collective efforts resulted in a generous donation of €180 to the Telethon cause, a testament to the club’s commitment to social responsibility.
