The 51st Women’s Chess Championship started in Tiruvarur
The 51st State Level Women’s Chess Championship on behalf of Tiruvarur District Chess Association started in Tiruvarur. 164 players from 27 districts from all over Tamil Nadu have participated in this. The tournament will be held in nine rounds and will continue till the coming 9th. A total prize money of 75 thousand rupees will be given to the winning players in this competition. At the end of the tournament, the top 4 players will participate in the National Women’s Chess Championship held in Maharashtra on behalf of Tamil Nadu.
