Drishyam and its second part were a film that was welcomed by the Malayalees with open arms. Drishyam directed by Jeethu Joseph with Mohanlal in the lead was well received in the theaters while the second part of the film which was released as OTT also got a good response.
The movie, which was a big hit in Malayalam, was remade in Tamil and later in Hindi. Now another news is coming out. There are reports that discussions are going on to bring the film to Hollywood. Sridhar Pillai, a trade analyst, has tweeted this. The tweet says that the movie will be remade in Hollywood and Chinese. Apart from Hollywood, it will also reportedly be remade in Sinhala, Filipino and Indonesian languages.
Kamal Haasan played the lead role in Tamil and Ajay Devgn in Hindi. Drisham 2nd part in Hindi has been well received. The film was able to create a movement at the box office as well. Discussions about Drishyam 3 were also discussed on social media. Director Jeethu Joseph had informed that he will do Drishyam-3 if he gets a good idea.
