Role model and old crush: Aparna Balamurali
Malayali’s favorite star Aparna Balamurali talks about Prithvi Raj and Kunchacko Boban. In an interview with Popper Stop Malayalam, Aparna talked about her favorite actors.
“I worked at Kappa as Rajuchet. For me, Rajuchetan is a personality that I always thought I should be. So are his actions. Because he has his own world.
I understand that he himself created it all. I really want to know how he does it. After the movie Nandanam, we see a change in actor Prithviraj.
I played the role of Pramila in the film Kappa. Rajuchetan’s character Kota was Madhu’s wife. I was very scared because Shaji Sarenna was the senior director.
But there was no other set that was done so jolly. Once when someone talked about a shot, I myself was shocked to hear Rajuvetan’s comments on it. I don’t have that knowledge. “Rajuvettan’s knowledge always amazes me,” said Aparna.
Aparna also said that Kunchacko Boban was the star she had a crush on when she was young. Chakochan was the crush of people like me when she was young. I have started listening to him since the second class.
I used to say that I will not eat rice if his film is not released. I don’t know why. I used to watch his movies on repeat. “I loved Shalini Ma’am and Chakochan very much,” said Aparna.
