This is how the huge funeral of Rabbi Haim Druckman ztzel was secured: The rain showers and stormy weather did not prevent many people from coming today (Monday) to the funeral procession of Rabbi Haim Druckman Zechar Tsaddik for the blessing that was held at the Shapira Center and at the Mashuat Yitzchak Cemetery. The Israel Police published how it prepared for such an event and even secured it.

It is not every day that an old religious Zionist rabbi passes away. A funeral of this magnitude in which tens of thousands of people came and on the other hand rabbis, politicians and public figures sped off requires assessments and security at a high level. Hours before the funeral, the police were held with increased forces.

As part of an intense preparation, hundreds of police officers, Border Guard fighters and orderlies worked since the morning to ensure security and maintain order.
The funeral procession ended without any unusual incidents, after careful planning and preparations by the Israel Police together with the emergency, rescue and local council bodies that took part.

Upon receiving the notification of the rabbi’s passing, large police forces began to be deployed and a number of situation assessments and coordinations were carried out, while providing advance information to the public regarding changes in traffic regulations.
Shortly after the end of the funeral ceremony, the police announced that all the roadblocks had been removed and the roads had been opened to traffic.
