Atlético Bucaramanga and Millonarios shared points (0-0) this Sunday at the close of the second date of the BetPlay League. It was a slow game, with few scoring options and few lights, both metaphorically and literally, since Alfonso López’s lighting towers failed in the second half.
The archers of both teams played a leading role. In the first minutes Aldair Quintana saved the leopard team twice. First by containing a shot from Leonardo Castro and then by clearing another from Beckham Castro. In the second half, Álvaro Montero drowned out Daniel Mosquera’s shout for a goal.
The clearest option of the commitment was Larry Vásquez, whom Beckham left with the goal alone after taking Quintana, who went to bail. When defining, the ambassador midfielder lacked precision and sent the ball to the side.

It wasn’t a very attractive game. About the first half hour, as a curiosity, a dog invaded the field of play and in ’73 the stadium lights failed. The stage was not completely dark, but the lighting was limited. It took the locals about 10 minutes to resolve the electrical fault.
When the ball rolled again Beckham had another clear option and Quintana once again saved the Santander team. He was not enough for more and the goalkeeper born in Ibagué was the figure of a match that ended 0-0.
The Sunday day
In a previous turn, América de Cali recovered from the defeat suffered in the debut against Águilas Doradas and beat Atlético Nacional 4-1 at the Pascual Guerrero. Hard blow for the purslane team, which was widely surpassed by its rival.

Sunday’s day started with a 2-2 draw between Chicó and Junior in Tunja. Henry Plazas and Wílmar Cruz scored for the Boyacenses, while Luis Cariaco González and Steven Rodríguez did so for the Barranquillas.
At the close of the first day, only three teams have accumulated a perfect score: Santa Fe, Águilas and Fortaleza CEIF. The previously mentioned Bogotá teams, due to a matter of goal difference and goals scored, share first place in the table after just two games played.
