EFE reported the suspension and partial operation of some of its services due to fallen trees on the road.
The State Railways Company (EFE) reported on the suspension of its train services in the south central zone, as a result of the frontal system that is hitting the regions in that sector.
The company issued a statement to provide more details about its various routes.
In this regard, they reported that due to the fall of trees on the railway tracks caused by the strong storm that arrived during the early hours of this Friday to the Metropolitan Region, it was determined that complete and partial suspension of some of its services.
How is the Estación Central – Rancagua and NOS service operating?
In the case of the Central Station – Rancagua train, EFE announced that is operating partiallysince it is only working between the Alameda and Hospital stations, in the commune of Paine. Considering the above, as of this morning San Fernando, Rengo, Rancagua, Graneros and San Francisco are not operational.
With respect to service of Us, This is operating between Central Station and Lo Espejo. Thus, the stations Lo Blanco, Freire, Maestranza, 5 Pinos and Nos are not enabled.
On the other hand, the The Chillán train is completely suspended, as is the Talca – Constitución service.
In order to solve the problems caused by the front system, EFE said that “our teams are deployed throughout the network, to go “Evaluating the conditions of the railway infrastructure.”
