The SRG announces initial information about appearance, stage and ticket sales. So this is how we will experience ESC 2025.

Colorful, many hearts and Swiss – the visual and acoustic look of the Eurovision Song Contest was presented in Basel. It combines traditional images and music from Switzerland with special effects and modern beats. The SRG provided the first insights into the scenery of the ESC.

Here’s what it looks like:
The hearts of the ESC are in the center of the visual signal. They create a world of virtual pixel-like images and contrast with real video sequences. It has everything from Heidi’s mountain idyll to images of a diverse modern society.

This is how the slogan “Unity Shapes Love” is applied and the Eurovision Song Contest is brought to its new home, Switzerland. ESC 2025 artistic director Artur Deyneuve says: “Switzerland is a country where we listen to each other. And if we listen to each other, we will find love.”

This is how the ESC 2025 sounds:
The sound world that accompanies the CSE combines tradition and modernity. The foundation is a driving, full beat, with traditional pieces. The sound image here also takes up the host country Switzerland.

Basel ESC’s sound ranges from techno elements and natural sounds to alphorn, yodeling sounds and dulcimers. Deyneuve says: “We have created a bold, energetic track that prepares the audience for an unforgettable experience with its driving beats and surprising musical effects.”

This is what the ESC stage looks like:
Florian Wieder, who developed the ESC stage design for the fourth time, is responsible for the show stage, which is embedded in a virtual mountain world.

The stage will feature features such as snow-capped mountains in a four-sided frame. This stands for the national languages ​​of Switzerland. There is also a grid pattern that Swiss design legend Karl Gerstner can trace back to the “Swiss Grid”.

Also announced was the ticket sales procedure for the nine shows in St. Jakobshalle Basel. To buy tickets for ESC 2025 in Basel, advance registration is required. This approach is intended to help prevent ticket reselling and ensure that as many ESC enthusiasts as possible have the opportunity to be there live. Pre-registration began on December 16 at 4:00 pm and is open until January 1, 2025.

Actual ticket sales for the shows will begin on January 29, 2025. Ticket prices range from 40 to 350 francs. The sale is in the hands of the Ticketcorner platform. There will be tickets for public viewings in St. Paul’s Park. Jakob-Basel also available from 29 January 2025.
