Netflix series ‘Squid Game’ Season 2 will be released on December 26th. To announce this, ‘Pink Guard’ (characters from the drama) appeared in Seoul, Paris, France, and LA, USA, and performed a global performance.
On Gangnam-daero in Seoul, a performance was held in which the Pink Guards took down a banner with the symbol “○△□” that means “Squid Game.” As the Pink Guards took down the banner, a picture of the participants of the “Squid Game” running ahead in green uniforms was seen, along with the copy that said, “The real game begins.” A similar scene was also revealed in Yeouido, Seoul.
Pink Guards also performed in Paris, where the 33rd Paris Olympic Games are taking place, as well as in Los Angeles, USA; Bogota, Colombia; and Buenos Aires, Argentina. The announcement video of the release date for Season 2 of ‘Squid Game’, which was uploaded to Netflix’s official YouTube channel, received an explosive response and was ranked ‘Ingeupdong’ (short for ranking of videos with rapid rise in popularity) on YouTube in Korea and the United States.
There is also a heated response on social media Instagram. Fans of ‘Squid Game’ are showing their excitement by saying things like, “Let’s start the game again!!” (Instagram_kuk****), “Thank you Netflix for the Christmas present” (Instagram_da****), “This is my Olympics” (Instagram_gis****), “I’m ready to get back in the game” (Instagram_l__a****), “Estoy emocionado ya la quiero ver (I’m already excited, I want to see it soon)” (Instagram_ing****).
