Morocco is a country that has established diplomatic relations with Israel and considers it a natural move. Algerian authorities and people alike came out strongly against this.
In addition, relations between Morocco and Algeria have deteriorated due to disputes over border territories, including the Sahara Desert. Algeria officially announced the end of diplomatic relations with Morocco last August.
