Samuel Parra Ortiz, better known in the artistic world as Samo, is a Mexican performer and composer born in Veracruz who arrives at La Voz Kids Colombia 2024 to be an Advisor to the Cepeda Team and thus provide an international perspective to this Team, in which they count with 36 participants, who dream of starting their musical careers after the Blind Auditions.
Without a doubt, this artist has become a Latin American pop star, just as the Bogota Coach said, because he managed to mark a generation and an era with his musical songs, which became classics. In addition, he has stood out for his work as a composer and singer, writing songs for great artists and performing several collaborations with national and foreign artists.

Samo and the creation of Camila
In 2005, Samo created the Mexican pop group Camila with Mario Domm and Pablo Hurtado, which released their debut album ‘Todo Cambio’ in 2006 and their second album ‘Dejarte de amar’ was released in 2010. For this That same year, he was awarded the SESAC Latina Spirit of Mexico Award as ‘Best Composer and Singer’.
In March 2023 Camila returned with this artist by publishing ‘Fugitivos’ and on September 21 of the same year they released ‘120’. Samo collaborated on this album of the group’s return as a composer with the songs ‘Incendio’, ‘Te loDaría’ and ‘Corazón en coma’, the latter being the fourth single from the album, which will have a surprise collaboration.

Samo’s solo career
In 2012, Samo recorded his solo album titled ‘Inevitable’, which was released with the first single ‘Sin ti’. In 2015, the Mexican performer released his first live album, which he named ‘Me Quito el Hat (Live from Guanajuato)’.

Under the Universal Music label, in 2016 she released her second studio album known as ‘Eterno’, in which Alejandra Guzmán collaborated with the song ‘Te Juro’. In 2019 she began her career as an independent artist with the song ‘Amar de Verdad’ in collaboration with Sandoval; she releasing various albums and hit singles. In 2022 her second live album ’27’ was released, closing her first stage as a soloist.
