Vaccine for corona
Ilex Medical announced today (Sunday) another order from the Ministry of Health for corona tests – for a total of NIS 119 million, thus increasing the company’s orders to a quarter of a billion shekels in total since the outbreak of corona in Israel.
After the agreement was converted from the Ministry of Defense to the Ministry of Health, the latter ordered tests on a significant scale that will contribute to the stock of corona tests in Israel (which was fully delivered as of the beginning of November 2021).
This invitation comes against the background of the company’s announcement on September 10, 2020, of winning the Ministry of Defense’s tender to establish a corona testing laboratory. The total orders received by the company from the Ministry of Defense / Ministry of Health as part of the tender is NIS 252 million.
As of November 3, 2021, the laboratory continues to provide Corona Laboratory services to the Ministry of Health by winning first place as part of its first individual application in a tender published by the Ministry of Health.
