jpnn.comPEKANBARU – The 2024 Kapolri Cup Zone I volleyball tournament was officially opened at the Tribuana Sports Hall, Jalan Diponegoro, Pekanbaru City, on Wednesday (21/8).
The opening of the tournament was carried out by the Riau Police Chief, Inspector General Pol Mohammad Iqbal and was also attended by the Acting Governor of Riau (Gubri), Dr. Rahman Hadi, Danrem 031/Wira Bima, Brigadier General TNI Dany Rakca Andalasawan, and other invited guests.
The series of activities for the opening of the 2024 Kapolri Cup Zone I felt grand and lively, especially with the presence of spectators filling the stands.
Each contingent brought supporters who cheered each other on during the match.
The event was also enlivened by a colossal dance performance that was collaborated with modern dances.
Then, it continued with a defile from each contingent.
The 2024 Kapolri Cup tournament will be held from 21 to 25 August 2024.
During the preliminary round, the competing teams are divided into several zones.
