The plan initiated by the Israel Land Authority together with the Kfar Saba Municipality for the construction of the new Movil neighborhood is located in the northeastern part of the city adjacent to the young Kfar Saba neighborhoods and Beit Nof, east of Moshav Tzofit and west of the Kaplan neighborhood, axis 5503 Of about 646 acres.

The plan deals with a new residential district that connects to the existing urban fabric and creates complete urban continuity, and is designed as an urban grid with a hierarchical development of a diverse residential mix that creates the walls of urban streets and incorporates public buildings and green spaces. The base of the district is a residential block that encourages pedestrians and cyclists, a textured construction that envelops public pocket gardens that are connected to each other and together with the park located along the neighborhood, one continuous and continuous green system is created.

On the ground floor of the residential buildings, commercial, public uses and common uses are combined for tenants which create a rich and vibrant space. The district combines public and educational buildings of various sizes that match the needs of residents and the city and an urban square with employment, commercial and residential areas located in the heart of the district and is also expected to enrich the urban activity in the neighborhood. The project was designed by Ofer Korin and a team led by Nathaniel Cohen from Korin Architects.

Rafi Elmaleh, Senior Director of Planning and Projects at the Israel Land Authority, welcomed the deposit of the Kfar Saba North plan, noting that “the plan adds a new, high-quality residential district to the city of Kfar Saba through a variety of housing mixes for the entire population.” Employment and public buildings as well as promoting urban activity in its territory through public spaces, connectivity, mixed urban square, uses and green areas for public welfare.
