jpnn.com – The transportation facilities provided by the North Sumatra (Sumut) Provincial Government through the local transportation agency (Dishub) during PON XXI received appreciation, especially from athletes and officials.
Athletes and officials from various contingents felt the professionalism and comfort of the transportation facilities provided, so they could focus on the match.
This was expressed by the West Java contingent’s Kickboxing athlete, Ajeng, who was satisfied with the XXI PON transportation facilities, especially in North Sumatra.
“The minibus transportation provided is very good, especially in terms of comfort,” said Ajeng as quoted from a press release, Tuesday (17/9/2024).
Muhammad Syafatul Rahmat from the East Java contingent Cycling Branch felt the same way. He assessed that the transportation facilities of the XXI North Sumatra PON prioritized the comfort of the athletes.
“Thank God, the facilities are very good. We sat comfortably during the trip, and it was very helpful,” he said.
Likewise, the Central Java contingent’s taekwondo coach, David Sinaga, also gave high appreciation to the North Sumatra Transportation Agency for the transportation facilities provided.
“I feel satisfied and grateful to the North Sumatra Provincial Transportation Agency. We were given good escort facilities, so that our trip was on time, and there were no obstacles during the trip,” said David.
North Sumatra Transportation Agency Head Agustinus Panjaitan said that the XXI PON transportation facilities that were appreciated by athletes and officials were the result of hard work and synergy.
