One of the names of the murdered women is a Venezuelan woman who was only 26 years old at the time of her death, Kenny Finol or as she called herself, The most expensive doll in the display case, This was due to its beauty and the prices it charged its clients per night, which ranged from 2 to 5 thousand Mexican pesos.
She was originally from Maracaibo, Venezuela, where she studied and dreamed of being a model. Her idol was Paris Hilton. She wanted her life, her luxuries and her popularity, but in a country with a declining economic situation, she had no other option but to leave school and seek income to support her mother, so she decided to migrate to Mexico, the country where many Latinos achieve fame.
Upon arriving in Mexico City, she found herself in a different reality, but decided to sell her sexual content to a platform known as zonadivas.com, where once again, thanks to her beauty, she soon became the main image of said page.
Zona Divas was a pornography and trafficking platform where women, mainly foreigners, offered explicit content and sexual services in exchange for money, characterized by very beautiful, exuberant and expensive women; and indeed, Kenny was the most expensive on the page; for 17 years the “company” was in operations with women of different nationalities, who according to their statements, were forced to become prostitutes.
Going back to her story, according to the testimonies of her friends, “she liked thugs”, and a year before she traveled to Mexico in 2015, she had as a boyfriend an ex-convict named Astolfo de Jesús Balzán, who was killed during a confrontation with the police. She even had Balzán tattooed on one of her shoulders; so it was common for her to be always surrounded by criminals, drug traffickers, like “el Pozoles”.
Brian Mauricio Miranda Gonzalez, alias “El Pozoles”is an alleged member of the Tepito Uniondedicated to drug dealing, extortion, protection rackets and sexual exploitation of foreign women and mainly for being suspected of the femicide of Kenny, with whom he had a romantic relationship, since she was totally in accordance with his “standards” for choosing women: tall, blonde and thin.
It is also presumed that “El Pozoles” was the trusted man of Ignacio Santoyo Cervantes, alias “El Soni”, the person who ran Zona Divas, to kill women who reported, rebelled or sought to work on their own, however, in addition to Kenny, he was linked to at least two other women from the platform.
Brian and Kenny ended their relationship in October 2017, because “El Pozoles” demanded that she quit her job as an escort; however, he began to threaten her regardless of the fact that he already had a new girlfriend, with whom he had been with for 2 months, when she received a message where Brian confirmed that he had already killed her, in the case of Karen, who appeared just two months later with a bullet in her head.
Kenny stopped going out, she lived locked up out of fear, because she knew the same thing would happen to her, since she knew that “el Pozoles” killed as a hobby, until she decided to upload a video where she showed the blows and wounds that Brian had inflicted on her.
The last time he was seen Kenny alive, it was at an electronic music concert on February 24, 2018, apparently attending with some clients of the website who invited her, to be found dead two days later with her face disfigured, with signs of rape and torture, the main suspect being “el Pozoles”.
