After the ongoing Test match between India and England at Edgbaston, 3 T20Is and 3 ODIs will be played.
As the T20 World Cup approaches, it is imperative that the Indian team prepares for it and ensures a strong playing XI combination.

It will be a tough task to confirm the playing eleven combination of the Indian team as there is a tough competition between players like Shreyas Iyer, Suryakumar Yadav, Deepak Hooda and Sanju Samson.
There is fierce competition among the players to be included in the Indian squad for the T20I series against England. Deepak Hooda and Sanju Samson, who were not included in the South African T20 series, batted tremendously in the T20 series against Ireland and the practice match against Derbyshire.
